Located in the heart of England, Lichfield hosts the UK’s only Double Iron Distance Triathlon. Held at The Friary Grange Leisure Centre in Lichfield on Saturday 1st August to Sunday 2nd August 2009 the event starts at 6am and runs over the following distances:

Swim 4.8 Miles
Bike 224 Miles
Run 52 Miles

Its a no frills event, pool swim followed by 16 laps of a bike course and 42 laps of the run course – so no chance of getting lost! Any members competing let me know and i’ll wing some Red Bull your way.
