After a long spell off training due to wedding, injury and Christmas excess i got an email yesterday when laid up in bed with food poisoning… Email read, “IMUK70.3 in 6 months time” … Not what I needed!
Off on honeymoon today with Lance Armstrong’s book for motivation so I reckon with a bit of caribbean sun and sea swimming I’ll be ready to rock when I get back.

Here’s something else for you:
200 days until Ironman Switzerland.
Don’t let it worry you while you’re in the Caribbean though. Have a great time and we’ll go for a ride when you get back.

Beginning the transformation from fatman to ironman – Switzerland here I come, better hide the toblerone
